Humans have five senses which influence thinking, feeling and acting.
In the black forest house of senses in Grafenhausen, in the high black forest in Baden-Württemberg, the senses get stimulated actively to show the visitors how they work. The interactive museum has different rooms and installations in which you can explore the senses.
Rooms which stimulate perception
The museum has an indoor-barefoot-trail inside of a small mask forest, which enables to feel the haptic of different materials. While exploring your feeling sense, you can look at figures of the Rothauer country which are part of the culture of the region.
Inside of thedark trail you can figure out, how it feels to not see anything. In the dark bar you are able to experience the taste of different juices just by your taste sense which is not that easy, without colors!
