Route description
Starting in Lenzkirch, you hike up to the mountain sport facilites, where the hike begins. Along the way you will come across many different birds, like blackbirds, bluetits and wrens. Even if the birds are hard to spot, children will be able to see carvings of them along the way and the world of birds is presented by many charts. The paths can be combined in different ways, to make for an exciting day out. Furthermore, there is a picnic spot with barbecue area and a stunning view.

- You're traveling a distance of 3 km on this easy trail. The hike is therefore not too long. The average length of all hikes in Baden-Württemberg is 43 km.
- You're facing an uphill climb of 114 vertical meters on this hike. The track is therefore relatively flat. The highest point of the track is 883 m above sea level.
- Don’t hesitate to take your kids along on this easy hikes.
- Make sure to bring sturdy footwear on this track. Hiking boots are highly recommended. There are places to buy beverages and food along the track. However it’s always recommended to bring enough water and food along with you.

Getting here
By car:
Starting in Freiburg, take B31 until Titisee, then take B317 towards Basel/Feldberg. Afterwards, take B315 towards Schaffhausen until you reach Lenzkirch. From Donaueschingen, take exit Neustadt/Lenzkirch on B31 and continue on Donaueschinger Straße. Then turn left onto Lenzkircher Straße and get to Lenzkirch via Kappel. A car park is available.
Public transportation:
Take the train 727 to Neustadt. From there, take the bus 7258 towards Bonndorf. Get out at the stop 'Kurhaus'. Alternatively, take the train 728 to Seebrugg, get out at Titisee and continue on bus 7257 towards Seebrugg until you reach 'Kurpark'.
