Route description
Your tour starts at the lake in Reitdorf (Reitecksee) and lead you along path Nr. 2 to the Aignerbauer. Carry on path Nr. 40 to the Pürstingbauer and Steinlehenbauer. After about 400 m a field track leads downhill to Maderlehenbauer and further to the Gasthof Horner (Burnstein). Return to the starting point on the meadow path Nr. 2 via Oberlehengut and Aignerbauer.
Where to eat
The tour offer you some possibilities for refreshments. Already at the beginning you can strengthen yourself with a snack at the buffet at the swimming lake. On your way you pass the Gasthof Horner (Burnstein) and the Aignstadl where you also can have a snack.

- You're traveling a distance of 7 km on this moderate trail. The hike is therefore not too long. The average length of all hikes in Salzburg is 15 km.
- You're facing an uphill climb of 350 vertical meters on this hike. The high point of the hike is located at an elevation of 1,135 m.

- Sturdy hiking boots are recommended on this track. There are places to buy beverages and food along the track. However it’s always recommended to bring enough water and food along with you.

Highlights of the tour
At this tour you pass some mountain farms. Thirsty hikers find at the fountain at the farm "Pürstingbauer" a cup to enjoy the cooling spring water and the magnificent view to the valley of Flachau.
At the end of you hiking tour you can reward you with a jump into the swimming lake.

For this tour you need sturdy shoes.
If you want to go swimming at the end of the hike, you would need bathing togs.
