Route description
The mountain bike tour starts at the post office in Schaanwald. On a route through the forest one will cycle in the direction of the Paulahütte, which will be reached after having completed two thirds of the tour at an altitude of 800 m (874 yards). From there, you'll be able to enjoy a fantastic view stretching from the Rheintal (Rhine valley) up to the Bodensee.
Before the forest path in the Gerawald (forest) will no longer offer the possibility to be cycled on, you'll be able to cycle further 300 m (328 yards) in altitude, starting at the hut. The same track will lead you back to the starting point in Schaanwald.
Interesting facts
- You're traveling a distance of 8 km on this easy trail. The bike trail is therefore not too long. Average length of all bike Trails in Liechtenstein is 29 km.

Getting here
By car:
On the Swiss motorway A13 you'll take the exit Buchs in the direction of Schaan. At the Postplatz you'll turn left into the Feldkircher Straße. It will directly lead you to Schaanwald. Coming from Austria on the motorway A14 you'll take the exit at Feldkirch-Frastanz, keep to the right and continue on the Feldkircher Street/ B190. At Hirschgraben, you'll turn left onto the B191. Alternatively, you'll be able to catch the bus 13 from Schaan to Schaanwald Waldstraße.
