Description
Directly on the shore of the largest lake in the Upper Palatinate, Lake Steinberg, the world's largest walk-in wooden sphere with a height of 40 metres awaits you in the inMotion Park. On the various levels of the wooden adventure sphere, there are 25 adventure and movement stations to discover that challenge your mobility, coordination and dexterity. In addition, you can learn interesting, funny and astonishing facts about the blue planet from the information boards on the theme of "Moving Earth".
Once you reach the top, you will be rewarded with a unique view over Lake Steinberg and the Upper Palatinate Lake District. For the subsequent way down, you can decide whether to take a leisurely stroll or to whizz down 12 floors on the giant spiral slide.
Once at the bottom, the Kugelwirtschaft restaurant invites you to enjoy regional delicacies in a modern ambience. When the weather is nice, you can enjoy the view of the lake from the sun terrace.
How to get there
Coming from Nuremberg, follow the A6 freeway to exit 67-Amberg-Ost. Turn right onto the B85 and follow this until you reach the A93 at Schwandorf-Nord. After approx. 8 kilometres, leave the freeway at the Schwandorf-Süd exit and turn left towards Steinberger See.
