Description
The mountain station in Alpendorf is haunted! But don't worry, the ghosts there are all friendly and kind. They take visitors young and old on an exciting journey through more than 40 play stations within the four ghostly worlds with the elements of air, fire, earth and water. At the Geisterberg Tower, the 30-meter high observation tower near the top station, you can get an overview of the entire Geisterberg Adventure Mountain before the Geisterberg Train takes young and old directly from the top station to the center of the Geisterberg Adventure Mountain. There's plenty to explore there: The Geisterberg Castle, the Dragon Trail, water games, climbing towers, swings, slides and a shooting gallery. Of course, the entire world of adventure can also be explored on the paths, most of which are suitable for strollers. Among other things, these lead past the reservoir, which invites you to take a well-deserved break with its breathtaking view of the Pongau mountains.
The special highlight at the Geisterberg is Drachis Via Ferrata for beginners. Children and Youngsters from the age of 12 climb the 40-meter-high Drachenwand rock wall here together with their parents secured to a steel rope. The necessary equipment can be rented at the sports store at the valley station.
