Description
There is plenty of action on the Blomberg near Bad Tölz in the Bavarian Pre-Alps.
The year-round toboggan run "Blomberg Blitz" has six steep turns, four waves and two jumps. A gyro and a twister as well as a double wave provide additional adrenaline on the 1,305-metre-long track. In the winter months, acrylic glass bonnets protect you from rain and cold wind. The start of the toboggan run is located a few metres below the Blombergbahn mid-station. You can reach it either comfortably with the double chairlift or on foot via a hiking trail.
From the beginning of March to the beginning of November, the summer toboggan run "Blomberg Classic" also awaits visitors. The 1,300-metre-long run starts directly at the middle station of the Blomberg double chairlift and leads over 17 steep curves back down into the valley.
After the tobogganing, visitors can fortify themselves with Kasspatzln and other delicacies in the beer garden of the Blombergtenne directly at the valley station. There is also a children's adventure park on the Blomberg with a small animal enclosure and trampolines. Another highlight is the climbing forest with ten adventure courses right next to the Blomberghaus at the mountain station.
