Route description
Start at the train station in Lenggries and ride towards town hall square and further on Geiersteinstraße towards the local pool Isarwelle. Change onto Goethestraßet and ride slighty downhill on Leitenweg. Turn right onto the path Am Ried and follow the path until the pedestrian bridge Tratenbachsteg. Afterwards, cross the river Tratenbach and continue to Unterluß and Steinbach. Then take the road next to the river Steinbach and after approximately 2km (1.2mi) across the river.
Continue about 1km (0.6mi) uphill and turn left towards Untermberg and Gaißach. In Gaißach, keep going towards Bad Tölz, where it is worth to stop and visit the town. After visiting Bad Tölz, cross the bridge Isarbrücke to the quarter Badeteil, pass the hospital and turn into the street Wackersbergerstraße. Now bike uphill until you reach the village Wackersberg. From there, ride towards Waldherrnalm via Steinbach to Arzbach. Afterwards, follow the way back to Lenggries. Alternatively, you can go along the river Isar back to Lenggries.

If the ridgeway back to Lenggries is too much for you, you can ride along river Isar from Arzbach to Lenggries instead.
