© Alpsee Bergwelt The year-round toboggan ride Alpsee Coaster is around 2.8km long.

The Alpsee Coaster, located on the shores of the Großer Alpsee near Immenstadt, is Germany's longest year-round alpine coaster. Starting from the chairlift's upper station, the 2.8-kilometre track winds its way back down the mountain with more than 100 bends, waves and jumps. Riders can reach speeds of up to 40 km/h while controlling their own pace throughout the descent.

Depending on how fast you ride, the journey takes between six and ten minutes. During winter, weather hoods help protect you from snow and cold, while floodlights illuminate the track for evening rides.

After your descent, you can relax on the sun terrace of the Berghütte Bärenfalle at the top station or take a leisurely 15-minute walk to the Obere Kalle mountain hut. Another place to stop for food and drinks is the Rodelwirt café and restaurant at the chairlift's lower station.

The Alpsee Bergwelt also offers plenty more to explore, including the Abenteuer-Alpe adventure playground and the Bärenfalle high ropes course, both located near the top station. The surrounding area is ideal for hiking, with scenic trails and beautiful views over Lake Alpsee.
