Description
Not only King Kong likes the Empire State Building. Millions of tourists are drawn to the office building in the heart of New York every year.
Visit the Empire State Building
An elevator takes the visitors from the lobby up to the 86th floor. There, the observation deck offers an amazing 360°-panorama of the city. If the sky is clear, you can even see as far as New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts and Pennsylvania. There is also an indoor viewing gallery if weather isn't in your favor. Thursdays to Saturdays a saxophonist sets the mood with live music from 10 pm until 1 am. If 1050 feet is not high enough for you, you should go to the 102th floor as well, where another observatory awaits you.
The exhibition
You're not only interested in the view from the Empire State Building but also its history? A museum on the 80th floor offers an exhibition about the construction in the 30ties.
