The Neue Pinakothek gallery is currently closed to the public until 2030 for structural reasons and to prepare for extensive renovation work. A selection of 19th-century masterpieces has been on display since summer 2019 on the ground floor of the Alte Pinakothek (east wing) and in the Schack Collection.
