Holders of the "München-Pass", people with disabilities, volunteers doing their social year, volunteers doing their military service and district and city home keepers pay the senior rate. Students of biology, earth and environmental sciences, chemistry and physics at universities and universities of applied sciences have free admission, all other students pay the senior rate. In winter, admission to the outdoor area is free.
The garden is closed on December 24 and 31. Special opening hours may apply for special events.
The specified opening hours apply to the open air in the summer months. The greenhouses are open from 9 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. in the summer months. In the winter months, the outdoor area is open from 9 am to 4.30 pm and the greenhouses from 9 am to 4 pm.
