Route description
A truly royal result awaits visitors to Männlichen in the Bernese Oberland: the Royal Walk. From the top station of the Männlichenbahn, the route leads to the 2345-metre-high summit. The path can also be reached by gondola from Grindelwald.
The ascent is with almost 25-30 minutes very short, easy and landscapelike a dream. On the way you will pass seven stations that revolve around the alpine mountain world. The highlight, however, is waiting at the summit. A 360 degree platform in the shape of a crown offers a majestic view of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau.
By the way: Since 2018 there is also a "Royal Ride" to match the Royal Walk. Two cabins of the aerial cableway from Wengen were equipped with an open-air balcony, so that the visitors now float majestically up the mountain to the Royal Walk
