Route description

The tour starts at the town hall of Georgenberg. Follow the signs with a black 4 on a white circle left of the road, then to the right and half-left towards Pleystein. Follow the road until you turn right into the forest. You will get to a viewing point as well as a steep ascent that will take you to another viewing point. Walk back into the forest for yet another observation point, where you can take a break at the bench.

Descend steeply, then turn right to the viewing point and right again back into the forest. After the next viewing point, continue left until you reach the road, then turn left to another observation point with a panoramic board and benches.

Back on the trail, you get to a very narrow section of the trail. Go left to cross the meadow and the forest to another viewing point. Over another very narrow trail, you get to the next observation point and on to the forest, where you are looking at a steep descent down to Alte Heerstraße (turn right and left).

You get to Hammermühle, and via Neuenhammer you get to the road which you follow towards Georgenberg. At the end of the town, turn half-left to the bridge. Cross Zottbach and Werkbach rivers. After a steep ascent, turn right onto a forest road and walk to the asphalted road Danzermühle-Waldkirch. Turn left and then half-right to Sieben-Insel-Weiher car park. There are benches at the pond to take a little break.

Cross the forest road and go right to the asphalted road Neuenhammer-Georgenberg. Cross it and get to Unterrehberg, where you turn left after leaving the town. Afterwards, turn right where you find the forest. Walk along Zottbach river to Danzerschleif, where you can find a bat nursery. Turn left onto the asphalted road, then right again and you get back to where you started.
