Route description
Following the signs of an arched bridge, you can hardly get lost on this hike. Information boards make the trail educational as well. Enjoy the view over Ellbachtal valley, and cross the so-called Brückle, an arched bridge dating back to 1871. Continue uphill along the little water falls of Böser Ellbach. After a while, you reach Rosshimmel waterfall, and then get to Ellbach lake, where you can stop for a bite to eat. Cross the stream and follow the river course to get back to where you started.

- You're facing an uphill climb of 447 vertical meters on this hike. The highest point of the track is 928 m above sea level.
- Make sure to bring sturdy footwear on this track. Hiking boots are highly recommended. If you get hungry along the way, there are places to rest and get food. Nevertheless it’s recommended to also have enough water and food in your backpack when hiking or biking.
