Route description
Adventure Path 5 first follows Tonbach river for a bit, then you come across an old charcoal square, where you can still get a good impression of what work here used to look like. Bits off the facility are still preserved, and the stones also bear witness to the bygone craft. Hence, you learn about woodcutters and resin workers and the hard life the led under the reign of their feudal lord.

- You're traveling a distance of 10 km on this moderate trail. The hike is therefore not too long. The average length of all hikes in Baden-Württemberg is 43 km.
- Make sure to bring sturdy footwear on this track. Hiking boots are highly recommended. There are places to buy beverages and food along the track. However it’s always recommended to bring enough water and food along with you.
