Located 776 m above sea level, 1606 m long and with top speeds of up to 150 km/h: the bobsleigh track on the Winterberg cap is one of the fastest and most modern in the world.

Enthralling as a thriller is the annual international poker on the ice track. Every year, the Veltins-EisArena Winterberg attracts the world's best bobbers and sledders as well as thousands of onlookers. You can get up close to the action and experience top-class sport and excitement.

The ice canal, which millions of viewers know from television, can also be explored outside the winter sports events. On a guided tour of the bobsleigh track, you can take a look behind the scenes and find out how the former natural bobsleigh track became today's artificial ice track, which is one of the most modern in the world, or how the huge cooling system works and how the track records were set. The guided tours are offered from April to October.
