Description
Great fun for the whole family is the summer toboggan run "Schanzen Wirbel", which opened in Winterberg in summer 2018. It is located directly below the St. Georg ski jump and has a lot to offer on the 700-metre-long track. This includes several curves and spectacular roundabouts. With the help of the brakes on each toboggan, each passenger can choose their own individual speed.
The fast-paced ride starts and ends near the Herrloh practice lifts. The "Schanzen Wirbel" will also be in partial operation in winter. On rainy days, the toboggans will be equipped with weather protection bonnets. Children from the age of eight are allowed to go down the summer toboggan run alone; those who are younger go down the mountain with an accompanying adult.
In Winterberg there is also the summer toboggan run at the Kappe adventure mountain, as well as the Herrloh Blitz summer toboggan run.
