About Travel Alberta

The province of Alberta encompasses a surface of approximately 661.185 km² (66 ha), making it the fourth largest of Canada's 10 provinces. Alberta is rich in both culture and nature and has therefore a lot to offer.

The entire city of Edmonton, Alberta's capital, is full of life with its 731.000 inhabitants. So if you can, stay for a couple of days to make the most of your visit. Cities in the vicinity such as Calgary are worth a visit too, displaying a unique style of architecture and shouldn't missed when on a tour through Canada.

In Alberta's national parks you may enjoy pure nature in perfection, especially in both Jasper National Park and Waterton Lakes National Park you'll find numerous hiking and cycling paths. Discovering the natural gems is a must here!

Alberta is one of the most versatile provinces as it never fails to offer breathtaking landscapes in combination with big-city flair and historical sites.
