The Albert bath in Bad Elster

The Albert bath in Bad Elster is located in the Saxon Vogt region, directly at the Czech border. The region is one of the oldest mineral- and moor cure regions in Germany. Together with the brine thermal baths Bad Elster and the bath and sauna world Bad Brambach, is forms the Saxon national baths.

A lot of opportunities in one space

The swimming area has a lot of natural light. The joy of moving and calming down is perfectly combined there. The water temperatures are between 25 and 35 degrees in the inside and outside pools which offer a great bathing experience. As there is a pool with a current where you can get rid of all your energy, there are also a lot of massaging glands which pamper you. In the whirlpool you can calm down and with the massaging banks in the inside and outside area you can enjoy your time.

Surrounded by historical bath architecture there is a new calming space. The steam bath which has about 45 degrees offers the opportunity to give your body the treatment it needs.

A little snack in between

The café in the Albert bath offers a variety of dishes and drinks so you can enjoy small snacks between hopping to the different pools and saunas.

The café is open from Monday to Sunday from 10:00 to 18:00 o'clock.

The Albert bath offers the opportunity to choose between three saunas. Beside a classic Finnish sauna with 80 to 90 degrees, there is a sanarium (about 55 - 60 degrees) and a crystal sauna which has about 65 - 70 degrees.

The modern sauna space is the perfect place to calm down and strength your vitality. After the sauna experience there are adventure showers and a pool for diving in the inside and outside area. If you get hungry or want a refreshing drink, there is also the offer of small snacks and drinks.

Beside the sauna of the Albert bath, there is the sauna world of the brine thermal baths Bad Elster which are part of the bath. You can enjoy massages and treatments there which you have to book in advance. It is necessary to buy a ticket which enables entrance to the thermal bath.

By car

If you come from the highway A72, you take the exit road "Plauen Süd" and follow the signages of the direction "Bad Elster".

By bus

The train station "Bad Elster" is about two kilometers away from the bath.

You can take the bus 94 to the center and get out at the bus stop "König Albert Theater".
