Description & Details
Nauthólsvík is Reykjavík's very own beach. Enjoy the sun and the golden sands, and go for a swim at the artificial lagoon. A mix of cold sea water and hot geothermal water makes for an agreeable temperature of around 15 to 19 degrees in summer. The facility even includes a service centre with a whirlpool. The braver visitors like to leave the lagoon and swim in the sea - despite temperatures going town to -1.9 to 17 degrees.
