Route description
Prato Piazza/Plätzwiese is a high plateau on 2.000 m. There are different huts where you can eat something.
The summer hiking tour starts from the pass Cimabanche/Gemärk. The path no. 18 takes through the wood and the montain pain till the end of the Valley of Canopi/Knappenfußtal. There you can see a small waterfall. At the right side, in serpentine, the path continues uphill to Prato Piazza/Plätzwiese.

Interesting facts
- You're traveling a distance of 4 km on this moderate trail. The hike is therefore not too long. Average length of all hikes in South Tyrol is 12 km.
- You're facing an uphill climb of 474 vertical meters on this hike. The highest point of the track is 1,990 m above sea level.

- Make sure to bring sturdy footwear on this track. Hiking boots are highly recommended. If you get hungry along the way, there are places to rest and get food. Nevertheless it’s recommended to also have enough water and food in your backpack when hiking or biking.
