Route description
A 7km/4.3mi trail full of stations to learn and explore leads you through the Baltic Sea spa Graal-Müritz in Mecklenburg-Hither Pomerania. You start at the barefoot path in Rhododendron park in the west of the town, then continue towards the sea. Explore the theme worlds about coast protection and coast forests, then walk along the promenade to learn about domestic animals. Walk back along the Baltic Sea, past the bridge and to where you started the tour.
Interesting facts
- You're traveling a distance of 7 km on this easy trail. The hike is therefore not too long. The average length of all hikes in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania is 43 km.
- Don’t hesitate to take your kids along on this easy hikes. What’s even better: You can also bring the family’s best friend on this dog friendly hike.
- In case of good weather conditions, the hike can also be done without bringing your hiking boots. There are places to buy beverages and food along the track. However it’s always recommended to bring enough water and food along with you.

Getting here
By car
You get to Graal-Müritz via motorway A19 or A20 towards Rostock. Leave the road at exit Rostock-Ost and follow B105 towards Stralsund. In Rövershagen, turn left and follow the signs to Graal-Müritz.
Public transportation
Regional trains from Rostock main railway station call at Graal-Müritz. From Stralsund, you can take a train to Rövershagen, then change onto a train to Graal-Müritz.
