Route description
The Alpine newt hiking tour is a diverse and beautiful hike for the entire familie. It leads you through a natural reserve that is home to numerous rare animals and plants such as the Alpine newt himself. The hike also goes past Rabenstein Castle, which is bart of the local castle triangle, and is well worth a visit.

RE 7 Berlin - Dessau to Bad Belzig. A nature park bus (line 592) going from Bad Belzig railway station to the nature park centre operates on the weekends (winter break: Christmas to Easter).
