Description
One of the longest ziplines in Europe awaits you at the Stoderzinken in Styria. The spectacular glide is 2.5 kilometres long and you can reach speeds between 65 and 115 km/h. Four visitors can zoom down the mountain at the same time on four parallel tensioned ropes. They all sit freely suspended in a safety belt and can thus enjoy the feeling of freedom to the full. At the highest point you are proudly 161 metres above the ground.
The minimum age for using the zipline is eight years, the weight limit is between 30 and 125 kilograms. Sturdy shoes and sportswear are mandatory. Check-in is located at the adventure park in Gröbming. From there the participants will be brought to the starting point at the top station. For the whole adventure you have to plan about 1-1,5 hours.
With the Flying Coaster there is another flight attraction in the adventure park. There you fly hanging from a tube construction through the forest, accompanied by many ups and downs like on a roller coaster ride. Starting point is at the valley station of the zipline.
How to get there
The Zipline belongs to the Gröbming Adventure Park, which is located not far from Schladming in Styria. The attraction is signposted from Gröbming. There are plenty of parking spaces. A shuttle bus will then take the participants from the check-in at the Adventure Park up to the starting point at the top station.
