Donautherme Ingolstadt

After the closure of the former Wonnemar in Ingolstadt and a change of operator, the Donautherme opens. Three themed areas await you in the newly renovated spa: the adventure pool, the spa with spacious indoor and outdoor water areas and the beautiful sauna world with a total of seven saunas.

So you have a whole range of brine pools, steam baths, saunas, relaxation rooms and children's pools at your disposal. If you are looking for recreation, relaxation and fun for the whole family, you will definitely find what you are looking for at the Donau-Therme.

Adventure pool

The adventure pool is a separate water world for families with children. Here, the little bathers will find a wave pool, Otti`s Kinderwelt, a water playground and a slide tower with a total of six slides. For adults, there are attractive areas to relax, a pool for swimmers (approx. 26 degrees) and the outdoor area for sporting activities. The water temperature of the remaining indoor and outdoor pools is between 32 and 34 degrees.

Spa

For an additional fee, you can supplement your stay with a visit to the Therme. This is open to bathers over the age of 16. The thermal water, consisting of minerals and trace elements, strengthens the immune system, has a relaxing effect and exerts a beneficial effect on your body. At a pleasant 34 degrees, you can relax in the brine pool, the sparkling champagne bath and the spring pool. Other highlights of the spa are the textile steam bath, the thermal pool with massage jets and the cold water area with waterfall shower and a pedal pool.

All around your visit 

Not only your body, but also your sense of taste will be spoiled in the Donautherme. The self-service restaurant in the adventure pool offers culinary classics. The pool bar in the spa serves delicious cocktails that you can enjoy by and in the water. There is a modern à-la-carte restaurant in the sauna world. Those who want to exercise can visit the WasserKraft gym and work out on modern fitness equipment. For those who want to learn how to swim or improve their swimming style, courses are offered.

For all sauna lovers, the Donautherme offers a variety of options. Whether heat, steam or scents - sauna guests can choose from seven different sweat baths with infusion programs as well as a steam bath. Admission is open to guests 16 and older for an additional fee.

The hottest sauna is the fire sauna (100 degrees), where the crackling fireplace creates a cozy cottage atmosphere. The Donau sauna (95 degrees) convinces with its special infusion ceremonies with pleasant scents. The forest sauna (75 degrees) is the perfect retreat for sauna newcomers and for those who don't like it so hot. Furthermore, the sauna area has a Finnish sauna (90 degrees), a swiss pine sauna (60 degrees), the sauna nest (80 degrees) and a hop sauna (95 degrees). After your sauna session, you can relax in one of the relaxation rooms or with a soothing massage. In addition, the sauna world has an exercise pool, a large cool outdoor pool and a hamam.

In the wellness area of the Donautherme you can pamper yourself with various massages and hamam treatments. In addition to classic massages, the wellness world also offers aromatic oil and peeling massages, deep massages and foot reflexology massages. It is advisable to make an appointment in advance.

The Donautherme Ingolstadt is located in a central urban location. It can be reached by car via the B13, the A9 or the A93 as well as by public transport such as train or bus. Take the train to Ingolstadt main station. From there, there are buses that take you to the bus stop "Donautherme", which is only a few meters away from the spa. There is a free parking lot on site.
