"Topography of Terror" is a Berlin project that has existed since 1987. It deals with the reappraisal and documentation of the reign of terror under the National Socialists.
What is special about this documentation site is that it is located on authentic historical ground: The central terrorist institutions of the Nazi regime were based here - the headquarters of the Secret State Police (Gestapo), the Reich leadership and the Reich Security Main Office.
In guided tours and seminars, the visitors will deal with the history and backgrounds of terror politics and at the same time explore the question of how the lives of the population have been influenced and changed.
The content and focus of the guided tours can be individually designed according to your interests, and the use of the educational offer is free of charge.
The exhibitions themselves consist of an open-air exhibition and varying special and travelling exhibitions. Experts will give lectures on special topics, admission to these events is free.
