Route description
Easy, interesting mountain path which does not require a lot of effort
Starting at the valley station in Belpiano/Schöneben, a slightly ascending hiking trail leads up to the tree line. You will find wonderful views of the mountain scenery with the imposing glacier giants of the Weißkugel and the Ortler massif, as well as views of the greenish-blue Reisa Lake. The descent to Malga S. Valentino/Haideralm does not require much effort and is easily manageable. You can also start this walk in S. Valentino/St. Valentin.

Interesting facts
- You're traveling a distance of 6 km on this easy trail. The hike is therefore not too long. The average length of all hikes in South Tyrol is 12 km.
- You're facing an uphill climb of 381 vertical meters on this hike. The highest point of the track is 2,319 m above sea level.

- Make sure to bring sturdy footwear on this track. Hiking boots are highly recommended. There are places to buy beverages and food along the track. However it’s always recommended to bring enough water and food along with you.
