Description

Italy’s longest Alpine toboggan run is located on Klausberg in South Tyrol’s Ahrntal valley. The 1,800-meter-long Alpine Coaster is called the “Klausberg Flitzer” and features a 360-degree loop as well as several jumps and banked turns. The ride begins not far from the mountain station of the “K-Express” gondola lift in the Klausberg Hiking and Ski Arena in Steinhaus. A lift transports guests of all ages in sleds up the mountain. The toboggan run is open year-round and may be used by children ages four and up when accompanied by an adult.
Next to the toboggan run is the “Family Park Klausberg”. Here, visitors will find ten lifelike dinosaur replicas, a water adventure area, and a balance course with slacklines, climbing elements, and more. Refreshments are available at the Kristallalm and Moaregg Alm right at the K-Express mountain station, as well as at the Almboden restaurant at the foot of the adventure park.
