Description

At ErlebnisBocksBerg in Hahnenklee, located in the Harz Mountains, you'll find two alpine coasters, each offering a different riding experience. Beyond the coasters, the mountain is home to a wide range of attractions for families, hikers and outdoor enthusiasts. You can reach the summit comfortably by cable car or chairlift.
Two alpine coasters, two different adventures
The BocksBergBob is a rail-guided alpine coaster with a track measuring approximately 1,250 metres. Starting near the mountain station, it winds its way downhill through bends, waves and a distinctive double spiral. Riders remain in full control of their speed throughout the descent.
The Drachenblitz is the mountain's second alpine coaster and offers a completely different experience. Built around a dragon theme, it features a giant three-headed dragon, modern ride technology and five thrilling spirals, making it a truly one-of-a-kind attraction. The 560-metre track twists through a mysterious dragon's cave before passing the enormous mythical creature. As with the BocksBergBob, riders can adjust their speed at any time.
More attractions on the mountain
In addition to the two alpine coasters, ErlebnisBocksBerg offers plenty of other activities for all ages. Highlights include a large witch-themed maze, BocksbergCarts for a downhill ride back to the valley, the BocksbergTub tubing slide, trampolines and several playgrounds and adventure areas for children. Scenic hiking trails and panoramic viewpoints also make the mountain a popular destination for exploring the surrounding nature.
How to get there
The alpine coasters are located at ErlebnisBocksBerg in the spa town of Hahnenklee, a district of Goslar in the Harz Mountains. The valley station of the gondola lift is situated right in Hahnenklee's pedestrian zone. From there, the gondola takes visitors to the top of Bocksberg in just a few minutes, where both alpine coasters and the mountain's other attractions are located. Alternatively, you can also take the chairlift to the summit.
If you're travelling by car, parking is available at the valley station. A paid car park is located directly beside the gondola lift entrance, with additional parking spaces near the chairlift. Please note that there is no road access to the top of Bocksberg.
Hahnenklee is also easy to reach by public transport. Regular buses connect the village with Goslar, and from the bus stop it's just a short walk to the gondola lift valley station.
