Right in the heart of the Flemish metropolis of Antwerp, families can look forward to a very special indoor adventure: Plopsa Station Antwerp. This imaginatively designed theme park takes young explorers on a colorful journey into the world of their favorite Studio 100 characters – no matter the weather.

The amusement park spans four floors and is primarily aimed at families with children up to the age of ten. It brings together beloved characters from the Studio 100 universe, such as Maya the Bee, Vic the Viking, Bumba, and K3, with well-known Belgian comic heroes like the Smurfs, Lucky Luke, and Bob & Bobette.

Fun on Four Floors

More than 15 varied attractions provide weatherproof fun right in the city center. Little visitors can take their first spins on the "Bumba Carousel", climb around on Maya’s Playground, or pedal their way into the air on the "Flying Bikes" – the harder they pedal, the higher they fly. Thrill seekers can take on "Vicky's Totem Pole", a mini drop tower with a surprise element, or join Piet Piraat and his friends on the fast-paced "Storm at Sea" water ride.

A highlight is the interactive journey through Smurf Village in "The Smurfs Adventure", where guests become part of the story themselves. More fun awaits on the charming Jommeke Carousel or behind the wheel of the colorful K3 bumper cars.

In the action-packed shooting game "Lucky Luke Express", young cowboys and cowgirls go on an exciting quest for points in the Wild West. There's also a K3-themed traffic park, a Super Wings flying adventure, and a fast-paced race with Bob & Bobette to keep everyone entertained indoors.

Regular shows and meet & greets with well-known characters make kids’ dreams come true when their TV heroes appear live on stage. And for those in need of a break, the "Mr. Spaghetti Restaurant" offers family-friendly meals and a cozy place to refuel.

The story of Plopsa Station Antwerp begins in 2013, when the idea emerged to transform the vacant Thalys terminal inside Antwerp Central Station into a theme park centered around famous Belgian comic characters. The park first opened its doors in 2017 under the name “Comics Station Antwerp,” but was forced to close in 2019 due to financial difficulties.

Later that same year, the Plopsa Group took over the location, invested several million euros in redesign and renovation, and merged the existing comic-based concept with beloved Studio 100 characters. In October 2021, the park reopened as Plopsa Station Antwerp – featuring a fresh design, broader attractions, and a clear focus on families.

Plopsa Station Antwerp is located in northern Belgium, right in the heart of the port city of Antwerp. The indoor theme park is housed inside the historic Antwerp-Central railway station – one of the most beautiful train stations in Europe. Thanks to its central location, the park is easy and convenient to reach by both car and public transport.

By car

Drivers can take the E19 or E313 motorway toward Antwerp and follow signs to the city center. Several paid parking garages are available near the station, such as the "Centraal", "Astridplein", or "Zoo" garages. From there, it’s just a short walk to the entrance of Plopsa Station.

By public transport

The park is ideally accessible by train, as Plopsa Station Antwerp is located directly inside Antwerp-Central Station, which is served by national and international trains including Thalys, Intercity, and S-trains. Numerous tram and bus lines operated by De Lijn also stop directly outside the station, making for a smooth and stress-free journey from all over the region.
