Description
Around 35 kilometres north of Paris, a very special amusement park awaits you. At Parc Astérix, everything revolves around the heroes of the famous, indomitable Gauls Asterix and Obelix. In various themed areas, visitors travel through the village of the Gauls, the Roman Empire, Ancient Greece and Egypt. You can also pay a visit to the Vikings.
A total of almost 50 varied attractions await you here, ranging from fun rides for children to fast-paced roller coasters for adrenaline junkies. Highlights include the suspended roller coaster Oziris, the wooden roller coaster Tonnere de Zeuz and the looping roller coaster Goudurix. For refreshing fun, there are water rides and rafting attractions such as Romus et Rapidus, Le Grand Splatch and L'Oxygénarium.
In addition to the many attractions, Parc Astérix also offers three themed hotels, spectacular shows and great events like for Halloween or Christmas.
How to get there
Parc Astérix is located about 35 kilometers north of Paris near Plailly, directly on the A1 towards Lille. There are several large parking lots at the park. However, these are subject to a fee.
