From the outside a unique masterpiece, from the inside an exclusive water paradise. Divided into four levels, "Kärnten Therme" still provides short distances between the different areas. The rooms create a sensational feeling. Entering the spa a guest steps into a different world, where he or she can leave his or her daily life behind and relax. Adventure, fitness and wellness, all under one roof. At Kärnten Therme Villach you do not swim or bath in ordinary water. The water at "KärntenTherme" bubbles out of six springs, rising, with a temperature of 28°C (82°F), out of the earth's interior.
The 25m (27yd) long sports pool with a refreshing temperature of 24-26°C (75-78°F), is located indoors, on level two. Get active. The six lanes of the pool provide enough space for athletes to do the crawl and others to take it easy. Parents with children have a private area with a seperate baby change, where kids can enjoy themselves freely. Parents are also able to keep track with their offspring's activites while relaxing on the provided loungers. Brave keen beans can prove their skills on various water slides.
Two pipe slides, 86m (94yd) and 75m (82yd) long, which merge into one 16m long broad wave slide and finally open out into the landing pool, are waiting for young and old adventurer. The CrazyRiver which is 75m long and very winding is unique in Austria and turns the descent into racing fun. A great indoor white water experience.
Outdoors you'll find a thermal pool, 32°C (90°F) warm and equipped with massage loungers. You'll also find a children's pool of 30cm water depth.
Saunas
A great outdoor terrace broadens your view across the spa and the sourroundings. Located outdoors is not only a sauna but also an all year long heated panorama whirlpool. Afterwards cool down in the exhilarant ice pool. The lounger and silence area is ready for you to relax in. (Sauna area is nude area). Whoever wants to chat, meets on the top deck at the italian snack bar „sky 25“.

How to get there
By car:
Warmbad/Villach is ideally located by the highway in the three- country- corner Austria/Italy/Slovenia.
Coming from Vienna-Graz-Klagenfurt-Villach on highway A2: at the crossroad Villach drive towards Italy on A2 and take exit Warmbach/Villach.
Coming from Italy: take highway A23 towards Arnoldstein; continue on A2 and take exit Warmbad/Villach
Coming from Slovenia: drive over Wurzen pass, continue on state road towards Warmbad/Villach. You can also drive through the tunnel Krawankentunnel (E61) till the crossroad Faaker See on A2, continue on A2 towards Italy and take exit Warmbad/Villach.
By train:
Take train directly from Graz, Wien, Innsbruck, Salzburg, Italy and Slovenia. (till main train station Villach) Continue by city railway (S2) via train station west (Westbahnhof Villach) till Warmbad/Villach (2 stops).
By bus:
