Endless Beaches and Sunny Islands

Spain is a true paradise for beach lovers. The coasts of the mainland offer wonderful beaches with the best possible conditions for a dreamy summer vacation. The Mediterranean coastline spreads out over Catalonia, Valencia, Murcia and Andalusia including the most famous coastlines of Costa Blanca, Costa del Sol and the 135 kilometer (84 mi) long Costa Brava. In southern Andalusia, Galicia, Asturias, Cantabria and in the Basque Country you will encounter the Atlantic Ocean as opposed to the Mediterranean Sea.

Perfect for a beach vacation are the island regions. The Balearic Islands with Majorca, Minorca and Ibiza are top tourist destinations, especially during the summer months. The more southern regions of the Canary Islands together with Fuerteventura, Tenerife and Gran Canaria allow summer fun and provide cozy temperatures in the summer as well as during winter months.
