The museum takes you on a journey through the history of Porto, allowing visitors to understand the foundations, setbacks, conquests, discoveries, and wars that have shaped Portugal, particularly Porto.

Exhibition

Upon entering PRATA, you are greeted by an authentic replica of Porto's famous tram. You even have the opportunity to step inside this replica. Gradually, you are guided through the history of Porto. The exhibition takes visitors through the different eras that have shaped Porto. The detailed representation of historical events and their impact on the city provides a deeper understanding of Porto's development. Through interactive exhibits, displays, and multimedia presentations, visitors are able to better understand the people and their traditions.

Interactive Stories

One highlight of PRATA is the interactive stories. Through presentations and interactive elements, visitors are immersed in the events. A cinema and a video mapping show are also part of the exhibition. Visitors learn about the allies and enemies of the city and gain insight into the complex relationships that have shaped Porto over the centuries.

WOW Porto Cultural Complex
