Description
In the Imperial Carriage Castle Vienna in Schönbrunn, visitors accompany personalities such as Maria Theresa, Napoleon or Franz Joseph on their carriages through their eventful lives.
The highlight is the baroque Imperial Carriage, which is surrounded by exquisite staterun carriages, comfortable travel vehicles and playful children's carriages of the Habsburgs. One highlight is the "Sisi Trail", which shows the Empress's carriages as well as extraordinary cult objects such as her only surviving saddle, her "riding chapel" and magnificent original dresses.

How to get there
By public transport
If you arrive from Westbahnhof, take the underground line U6 to Längenfeldgasse station and then the underground line U4 to Hietzing station. If you are coming from Südbahnhof, take tram line 18 to Margaretengürtel station and then underground line U4 to Hietzing station.
