Swimming Lake
Surrounded by spacious lawns and amidst a forest lies the beautiful Lake Ried. Its surface measures 2.5ha (6.2 acres) and it is 4m (4.4 yd) deep. In the middle of the lake, there is an island. One can either swim to it or just walk through the shallow parts of the lake. In the immediate vicinity of the lake, there is a fishing hut, which offers meals and drinks.
In the winter period, the lake is used for ice skating and curling.
Things to do
At the lake, one can find several facilities such as a 40m (44 yd) long water slide and the possibility to rent a pedal boat. In addition, one can play table tennis and beach volleyball.
Anglers are welcome off the season.

How to get there
By car
Coming from Munich, it's best to drive via Garmisch, Fernpass, Imst, Landeck in the direction of Reschenpass towards Ried im Oberinntal (toll free via the Fernpass and then from Imst using the federal road (Bundestraße) in the direction of Landeck – Ried im Oberinntal). Alternatively, one can get here via Innsbruck using the Inntalautobahn A12, exit at Reschenpass and continue until Ried im Oberinntal.
Coming from Bregenz, one can drive via Arlberg, Landeck, in the direction of Reschenpass continuing towards Ried im Oberinntal.
Coming from Bozen/Bolzano, via the Meran, one drives in the direction of Reschenpass towards Ried im Oberinntal.
Please bear in mind that a motorway toll sticker (Vignette) is required for Austrian motorways.
There are car parks at the lake.
