Caribbean feeling just outside Budapest: Lupa Beach. Just a few kilometers from the city center, a picture-book vacation atmosphere awaits you here - with white sand, turquoise blue water and palm trees on the shore.
If you're looking for that real beach feeling in the middle of Hungary, Lupa Beach near Budakalász is the place for you. The approximately 100-hectare man-made lake was created from an old gravel pit. Today, its white sand, palm trees and turquoise-blue water invite you to swim and relax. Lupa Beach is one of the most modern lidos in Central Europe. Just 30 minutes from the center of Budapest, it offers relaxation, action and Mediterranean flair.
The two sections of the beach - Lupa Premium Beach and Lupa Bay - have wide sunbathing areas with fine, white sand. Palm trees and parasols create a tropical ambience, while wooden walkways, bars and street food stalls provide the perfect vacation atmosphere. Those who prefer things a little quieter can relax on sun loungers or in the massage tent. For a little more comfort, premium areas offer additional service.

There is a wide range of leisure activities on offer: Activities on the lake include stand-up paddling, wakeboarding, windsurfing, kayaking and diving. A special highlight is the 1,200 square meter water park with climbing and sliding facilities - ideal for children and sporty visitors. Those who prefer to be active on land can let off steam on several beach volleyball, handball and soccer courts or work out in the outdoor fitness area.
Children also get their money's worth: In the KidsBeach area, there is shallow water, a playground, arts and crafts activities, entertainment and even childcare. A trampoline, bouncy castle and giant chessboard provide variety for young and old.
