Description
The treetop path at Lake Edersee in Hesse is located on the edge of the Kellerwald-Edersee National Park at the top of the Eschelberg. With a great view of Lake Edersee, you walk along a barrier-free path in the treetops. From there, you can see nature from a whole new perspective. At the end of the TreeTopWalk, the path leads to an observation platform with a panoramic view of Lake Edersee.
On the 750-metre squirrel trail, which is part of the treetop trail, you see the world from a unicorn's perspective. You move around both on the forest floor and in the trees. You will be shown phenomena of nature, and you will be surprised by some of nature's unusual installations.
There are also seven different guided tours of the treetop trail, which also take place at night with torches. If you want to continue your excursion in the national park, a Unesco World Heritage Site, or in the nearby wild animal park, you should get a combination ticket and experience even more.
Historical Information
