Description
The treetop walk in Janské Lázně in the Krkonoše Mountains was opened in July 2017 and is the second treetop path in the Czech Republic after the Lipno treetop walk.
Over a length of 1,500 meters, the treetop path leads through the impressive mixed mountain forest at a height of up to 24 meters. Those who want to know more about nature in the Krkonoše National Park will get interesting information at the educational stations. The trail leads to a 45-meter-high observation tower, from which you can enjoy a great panoramic view of the Krkonoše Mountains. But here you not only go high up, but also under the earth. Under the tower is the unique root cave. Another highlight is the 80-meter tunnel slide that winds down the middle of the observation tower.
Like the other treetop trails of the Erlebnis Akademie, the trail in Janské Lázně is designed to be barrier-free and thus easily manageable for visitors in wheelchairs and families with strollers. At the exit of the trail you will find a restaurant with a sun terrace and a small exhibition area.
