Description
The Kaiserburg Bob in Bad Kleinkirchheim is the first Alpine roller bobsleigh run in Carinthia and the second of its kind in Austria. As the name suggests, the rollercoaster run is located right next to the cable car Kaiserburgbahn.
Big and small adrenaline junkies can whizz through the 26 curves here in both summer and winter at speeds of up to 40 km/h. A highlight of the 1.4-kilometre-long track is the approximately seven-metre-high loop in the fnishing straights, which offers a direct view of the mountain bikers on the Flow Country Trails.
The Kaiserburg Bob is still under construction and is expected to open for the 2020/21 winter season.
How to get there
Bad Kleinkirchheim is located about 40 kilometres north of Villach on the B88. The Kaiserburg Bob is situated next to the base station of the Kaiserburgbahn. Parking spaces are available directly next to the cable car.
