Description
In the middle of the Sauerland, you will find Europe's longest playground: Aventura SpielBerg in Medebach. It consists of nine segments of 160 metres in length and 32 metres in height making up a climbing tower, tunnel, bridge, bridges, and slides. The park is open all year round for fun for the whole family. Access is free for all visitors. The entire area comprises Europe's longest open-air playground with the Aventura Challenge, Aventura Fit and Aventura Kids sections. So there is something for every age group.
Aventura Challenge
The Challenge area is the place to go for all athletes and competition enthusiasts. You can start a race to the top of the mountain. There are three different difficulty levels to choose from. At the top of the mountain, an observation tower is literally the highlight of the SpielBerg. This lookout tower resembles a giant bird's nest and is thus related to the bird sanctuary in Medebach.
Aventura Fit
Aventura Fit is a convenient place to burn off steam or stay in shape. This part of the Spielberg is equipped with signs, exercise explanations and the necessary equipment so that you can consciously promote mobility or improve your strength and coordination.
Aventura Kids
There is a special toddlers' area, the Aventura Kids, for younger visitors to Medebach. Here you will find playgrounds with sand, gravel and water for fun.
Catering
There are plenty of benches, forest sofas and pavilions to relax on if you prefer to watch the action from the outside. There are no refreshment options available at the Spielberg. However, the "Hasenstall" hut, only a two-minute walk away, invites you to linger with its large outdoor terrace and local dishes.
