Phantasialand Brühl

In Theme Fantasy you experience with "Crazy Bats" the worldwide best VR-Coaster! After that you can still rotate with the two spinning coasters "Winja´s Fear & Force" at a lofty height. For children, Wuze Town offers pure entertainment for the little ones.

In the charming theme area Berlin you can start the day on the chain carousel wave flight and enjoy the flair of the 20s with cheerful theme artists in typical clothes. Experience here a show with great artistry or go with the 3D-Fun-Ride "Maus au Chocolat" on mouse hunt with the whole family, before the crazy hotel Tartüff twists your senses.

In Theme area Deep in Africa the Inverted Coaster "Black Mamba" invites you to an exciting ride through the African jungle with looping and screws. In addition, the Miji African Dancers enchant with traditional African rhythms and dances.

You should definitely stop by in the fun-loving theme area Mexico! In the attraction "Chiapas - THE waterway" you experience the steepest descent in the world with 53 degrees in a waterway. You can also take the Colorado Adventure mine roller coaster through steep bends, rocks and gorges.

In theme area China Town you can enjoy authentic Asian flair under original Chinese pagodas and staunst about masterful body control by artists from faraway Mongolia. The largest underground ghost train in Europe awaits you here.

world records are set in the theme area Mystery: As the world's fastest multi-launch coaster, "Taron" races at high speed through mystical gorges. With RAIK, the fastest Family Boomerang in the world, they race forward and backward through the air. "River Quest" also offers you the highest whitewater rafting in the world and Mystery Castle is unique in its form as a Bungee Drop Tower.

In addition to the numerous attractions, Phantasialand impresses its visitors with fantastic evening shows and various events. You can enjoy culinary delights, impressive show acts and an ambience of a special kind at Fantanissima, the theme park's dinner show. The Asia Nights provide for Far Eastern summer night magic. In winter, Phantasialand becomes a true winter dream. A sea of lights adorns the theme areas and various stands entice visitors with all kinds of delicacies. Useful information for your visit

Everywhere you go you'll find restaurants and cafes that invite you to take a break between the adrenaline-charged rides. If you are planning a visit lasting several days, you can stay overnight in the Hotels of Phantasialand. The Asian Hotel Ling Bao is completely furnished according to Feng Shui and the Mamba Hotel awaits you with safari flair in its rooms.

At three places in the park you will also find lockers where you can store your valuables. Families can rent buggies and hand carts. There are also children's wristbands so that no one gets lost. And if you get a little too wet on the fast whitewater course, you can use the person dryer.

Phantasialand is one of the oldest theme parks in Europe. It was opened in 1967 by Gottlieb Löffelhardt and Richard Schmidt on the former grounds of the Berggeist mine. Richard Schmidt had previously managed numerous TV puppet shows and developed a wide cast of fantastic characters. To make these accessible to the public as part of a fairy tale theme park, he teamed up with the businessman and actor Gottlieb Löffelhardt. Located by a lake, the park initially offered some smaller attractions like an old-timer ride, a western-themed train ride and Hawaiian restaurant. In the following decades, further rides and attractions were added. Today, the theme park in Brühl serves around 1.8 million visitors a year, making it one of the 15 most popular seasonal theme parks in Europe.

By car: When approaching from Cologne or Bonn, leave the A553 at exit 2 Brühl-Süd. From there, simply follow signs for the Mystery or China parking lots.

By public transport: Phantasialand is easy to reach by bus and train. By rail, head for Brühl central station or take bus line 18 to “Brühl – Mitte” and then use the shuttle bus for the final leg to Phantasialand. The nearest airport is Cologne Bonn International Airport.
