Nice is the capital of the Cote d'Azur and is located on the Mediterranean Ocean by Italy. Moreover, the flourishing city is one of the warmest places in the whole of France, especially due to its protected placement on the coast and is therefore a very famous vacation spot for tourists from all over the world. It is no surprise that this location was populated as early as the Homo erectus and the Neanderthals have settled here.
