The TAUERN SPA in Zell am See - Kaprun meets all individual wellness requirements. The SPA water and sauna world extends over an area of around 20,000m² with 12 active and relaxation pools, the separate Kidstein children's area, 10 saunas and steam baths as well as spacious indoor and outdoor relaxation zones.
The dialog with nature is the defining architectural element here. You can float in the active pool with a lazy river, in the relaxation pool with grotto or in the high pool with water cascade and decide which of the 3,000-metre peaks in front of the panoramic glass surfaces you want to conquer. After all, the Hohe Tauern National Park is right on the doorstep. In the outdoor area, you can choose between a brine relaxation pool, an activity pool and a 25-metre sports pool.
Saunas
The SPA Sauna World offers 10 saunas and steam baths, including the Alpine Herb Sauna, the Alpine Meadow Bio Sauna, the Salt Stone Harmonium and the Aroma Steam Bath. Infusion ceremonies are held several times a day in the spacious mountain crystal sauna in the outdoor area. Natural herbal peelings are offered in the steam bath. Afterwards, you can cool off in the cold plunge pool and relax in the cozy relaxation areas indoors or outdoors. There is also an outdoor pool and a Kneipp treading pool in the outdoor area.
A separate textile sauna area offers a Finnish sauna, bio-sauna and steam bath for guests wearing swimwear.

The Alpin Vital SPA & Cosmetics invites you to explore the alpine realm of beauty in 17 treatment rooms. For massages, baths, peelings and packs, preference is given to natural alpine products such as arnica, mountain salt or herbal oils, as well as natural cosmetics lines for beauty treatments. If you want to be pampered together with your partner, you can choose from various couples' treatments in the Private SPA.
How to get there
By car:
Take the A10 in the direction of Villach, exit at Bischofshofen, continue on the B311 in the direction of Zell am See, then in the direction of Mittersil and at the junction you'll take the exit Kaprun. From here, the way to the Tauern Spa is signposted. There is a large, free parking lot in front of the spa.
By public transportation:
Zell am See train station is approx. 9km from the TAUERN SPA. The bus line 660 runs regularly between Zell am See and Kaprun and stops directly in front of the entrance to the TAUERN SPA.
