The AQUA DOME – Tirol Therme Längenfeld sits in the heart of the Ötztal Alps and ranks among the most architecturally striking thermal resorts in the Alps. Across some 22,000 square metres, 12 indoor and outdoor pools filled with thermal water at 34 to 36 °C await – sourced from a depth of 1,865 metres.

Floating with a View

The AQUA DOME's signature feature is the trio of futuristic floating bowl pools in the open air. The sulphur bowl adds pure sulphur water every 15 minutes and has massage benches along its rim. In the brine bowl, with a salt concentration of five per cent, you drift almost weightlessly – accompanied by underwater music and light effects. The massage bowl pampers with jets and currents.

Crystal Dome and Lengths to Swim

The centrepiece is the crystal-shaped thermal dome with its vast glass front and views of the surrounding three-thousanders. Inside, two large pools at 34 and 36 °C invite extended bathing. A current channel pool and a 25-metre sport pool in the outdoor area round out the offering. Rest areas and a warmth oasis with solariums complete the thermal section.

Adventure on the Ark

For families, the dedicated "Alpen Arche Noah" water world features funnel and tube slides, the AQUAKI water park with splash and play attractions built on a ship, and a climbing and play area. A separate outdoor section opens in summer.

Award-Winning and Open Year-Round

The AQUA DOME is open all year. The resort includes a 4-star superior hotel with over 200 rooms and suites, a thermal restaurant and a fitness centre. It has been named "World's Best Mineral & Hot Springs Spa" multiple times at the World Spa Awards.

The sauna world features seven different saunas. The two-storey Loft Sauna seats up to 70 people. In the Gorge Sauna, you sweat with a view through a glass wall straight into an Ötztal ravine. The Earth Sauna, Hay Barn Sauna, Stone Sauna, Swiss Pine Sauna and a brine steam bath complete the line-up.

Into the Cold

Outside, a 20-metre thermal pool at 34 °C and a plunge pool at a bracing 13 to 14 °C await. Regular infusion rituals and themed sessions round out the sauna programme.

Unwind Between Sessions

Several rest rooms invite you to relax, including Oasis Blue, Alpine Rest and Mountain Impressions. The sauna world is available for a surcharge on top of the thermal entry and is open to guests aged 15 and over.
