Swimming Lake
Idyllic location, spacious lying zones, pleasant water temperature and various leisure facilities – all that you'll find in our water park Niedernsill! The area surrounding the natural swimming lake is approximately 15,000 m² (17,940 square yards) large, whereas the water surface has a surface of 16,000 m² (19,135 square yards). The water will naturally heat itself up to enjoyable 24°C (75°F). The separate children paddling pool will be heated additionally, so that our little bathing guests can play and splash in suitably warm water. There's also an area for our non-swimming guests, where lots of space is provided to refresh and enjoy the cool wet. The non-swimming area is also facilitated with a water slide, which enjoys immense popularity among all our guests. In the direct proximity, you'll find the restaurant "Die Libelle“ (engl. dragon fly), which also offers, next to a range of fish and meat dishes, pizza, salads and ice cream. Exactly what one desires after an eventful day at the lake!
Things to do
In 2012, the water park "Luziapark“ was opened, where water lovers of any age enjoy themselves at many stations promising fun and adventure including a monkey swing and two slack lines, which are installed just above the water surface. The sunbathing areas around the lake offer plenty of space to relax and bask in the sun, also facilitated with hammocks. Directly bordering with the lake you'll find the 'Freizeitzentrum', a leisure centre that has a lot to offer to anyone enjoying sports: a football pitch, a tennis court, a mini golf course, a beach volleyball court, slack lines in three different altitudes and much more!
