Route description
This beautiful hike starts and ends at the impressive ruins of Villers Abbey in the town of Villers-la-Ville. You walk along Rue des Quatre Chenes until you reach the eponymous crossroad with the 'quatre chenes' - the four oaks, where you turn left. Further on, the trail leads you past Le Chatelet palace and along river Thyle. Through the town of Villers, you finally make your way back to the abbey.

Interesting facts
- You're traveling a distance of 4 miles on this easy trail. The hike is therefore not too long. Average length of all hikes in Wallonia is 7 miles.
- This easy hike is perfect for the whole family. The hike is also perfect if the kid’s wanna bring their dog on the trip.
- Sturdy hiking boots are recommended on this track. If you get hungry along the way, there are places to rest and get food. Nevertheless it’s recommended to also have enough water and food in your backpack when hiking or biking.
