Route description
For a rather comfortable, cozy and easy ride it's best you start at the central station in Chur. You ride until the Alexander roundabout, then continue on the Quaderstraße to leave the town. On the ascending Loesstraße, you pass hospitals before reaching the idyllic Fürstenwald forest. From Waldhausstall on, which is the meeting point for many athletes, a natural path with many turns leads to Mittenberg. To be able to enjoy the impressive view you first need to overcome a steep hiking path. The cyclist will be rewarded with the view from the Rote Platte or the Fürhörnli. Just before the Mittenberg you have the possibility to refresh yourself with water from a well. For the the descent you need to decide whether you opt for the more technically challenging path leading via St. Luizkapelle (chapel) or you take the same way back you came.
