Description
At Planetarium Hamburg, children as well as adults can be excited. The 'cosmic playhouse' was founded in 1930 and has since attrected an average of 300,000 visitors per year.
The 21m high dome of the star room is equipped with state-of-the-art technology. Not only does it feature one of the largest laser and lightshow facilities in the world, it also boasts star projector 'Zeiss Universarium 9', the 3D cosmic simulator 'Digistar4' and Geoscience cluster Sciss Uniview. They all construct a unique audio-visual and live performance experience for the visitors.
Only recently has another sensation been added: cosmic journeys at the 360 degree 3D experience. Visitors find themselves right inside the 3D scene - unique in Europe.

How to get there
By car
Towards City Nord/Stadtpark/Winterhude. Parking available at 'Linnering' (Jahnkampfbahn/Ohlsdorfer Straße) or on Hindenburgstraße. For Persons with a disabled person's pass parking is available at the back of the Planetarium right next to an elevator.
